Gaskets - The escape of product, either powder, liquid or gas, at a point where two areas come together and a seal does not occur is a leak. Since it is neither technically nor economically possible to manufacture, maintain, or make permanent perfectly smooth and polished surfaces, gaskets are used as a sealing element.
Standard and custom designed gaskets are made to order. Fabricated from our wide selection of stock materials for use in the electronic, food, medical, chemical and packaging industries. This type of gasket has a flat surface that is compressed between two flanges. Two standard types of flange gaskets are the full face and ring gaskets.
